The second design is still rather dainty, and there ARE quilting motifs filling the spaces.

Another nice one … plenty of open spaces for quilting, but that space is rather boring without the quilting. However, I have started redrawing the blocks used in this project, and will probably start a new project file with the new versions sometime in the future, but now this project file is retiring.

My favourite for today is the second one.
The last one is the last in the project file, but the block designs will reappear tidied up, with new colours and some modifications, and quilting lines will be added too.
read moreToday’s designs are leaning towards traditional, which is the style I like, but I like original designs, regardless of their style.
In this project file I like the way the blocks create lines and shapes within the overal design.
We are enjoying some cooler weather for a few days, hopefully enough to allow firefighters to get on top of fires around Australia.
