Still dainty, but with heavier borders. This is the one I would make for our bed … if we didn’t already have three queen size quilts.

The second design is still rather dainty, and there ARE quilting motifs filling the spaces.

Nice, but would need some quilting! I would use the centre block as the quilting design.

The second one would also need some quilting, but mainly just background fill.

Simple changes to five blocks, and I like it more than the first version, though I should not have changed the quilting motifs!

Nice one.

Another nice one … plenty of open spaces for quilting, but that space is rather boring without the quilting. However, I have started redrawing the blocks used in this project, and will probably start a new project file with the new versions sometime in the future, but now this project file is retiring.

Ferns and Flora 16, 17, 18 from Virtual Quilter

Love these designs, but will have to add some quilting lines, and new colours. A new project file to play with in the future.

My favourite for today is the second one.

The last one is the last in the project file, but the block designs will reappear tidied up, with new colours and some modifications, and quilting lines will be added too.

Ferns and Flora 14, 15, 16 from Virtual Quilter

Today’s designs are leaning towards traditional, which is the style I like, but I like original designs, regardless of their style.

In this project file I like the way the blocks create lines and shapes within the overal design.

We are enjoying some cooler weather for a few days, hopefully enough to allow firefighters to get on top of fires around Australia.
